As you are aware, the Neuroblastoma Society depends very largely on parents and family members of children who have or have had neuroblastoma. Everyone connected with the Society works on a voluntary basis so that expenses are kept to a minimum and most (currently over 95%) of donations are used for research.
But as new avenues for research open up the Society is faced with the challenge of responding to growing demands for funding. To enable us to rise to this challenge, we are seeking like-minded people to join us. As supporters of the Society, this is an exciting opportunity for you to become involved in the running of the charity and make a real difference in the fight against neuroblastoma.
We welcome offers of help with all aspects of the Society's business: fundraising, sporting events, IT, finance and general administration.
If you believe, as we do, that research into neuroblastoma is the only way of finding an eventual cure, if you have energy, enthusiasm and ideas, if you have the motivation and commitment to making a difference, then please do get in touch.
Whatever your skills – whether it be a flair for organisation, a great communicator or a social media expert - no matter how much or how little time you're able to spare there will be a role for you and we would be delighted to welcome you to our enthusiastic team.
For more information, please contact our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Natalie Cramp, on 07825 823723 or e-mail volunteers@neuroblastoma.org.uk or our Chairman, Steve Smith, on 01904 633744 or e-mail chairman@neuroblastoma.org.uk.
We look forward to hearing from you.
