Leaving a Legacy
A thoughtful way of remembering the work of the Society is through a legacy in your Will. The precise form of words is a matter for you to agree with your solicitor, but text along the lines of I give the sum of £xxxx to the Neuroblastoma Society (Registered Charity Number 326385) absolutely and free of tax (perhaps adding the name of the child in whose memory the gift is made) would be sufficient for your executors to carry out your wishes. Normally a solicitor will want to add an address for the charity, but as everybody involved is a volunteer the charity's official address regularly changes. Your executors can get the charity's address from The Charity Commission when it is needed.
Online
The Society is registered with two websites that allow you to make an online gift. These are the Charities Aid Foundation and Just Giving. In both cases it is possible to complete an online Gift Aid declaration so that tax is recovered and added when the donation is credited to the charity's bank account.
